Does HIFU Skin Tightening hurt?
There is little to no pain involved in the Focus Dual HIFU treatment, however you may experience some slight discomfort.
Some people describe the experience as a light prickly sensation across the treated area, or light tiny electrical pulses. With that said, it is nothing that will make the treatment unbearable or anything more than a slight discomfort.
Are there any side effects of Hifu skin tightening?
Side effects of Focus Dual are generally mild, and usually includes light bruising that lasts up to a week. There may also be slight edema, redness, and mild to moderate tingling or tenderness that lasts for about 3-5 days, however this should not affect sleep or normal activities.
You will be able to return to normal activities straight away, with no special recovery measures needed. This is why HIFU has earned the name ‘lunchtime facelift’.
How long does the treatment take?
Please allow approximately an hour from start to finish per treatment. Treatment length for Focus Dual usually takes around 30-60 minutes, however specific treatment time may vary depending on the specific concerns being tackled.

Am I suitable for HIFU Skin Tightening?
As the Focus Dual offers various different intensity settings this treatment can be customised very easily to all skin types.
Before your treatment we will have a consultation with yourself to determine your suitability for the treatment. This can be completed on the same day as your treatment and will not require a patch test or any other testing. If you have any questions about your skin tightening treatment or would like to know which style of treatment is best for you, please don’t hesitate to call or message us.
We will never recommend a treatment if we deem it to be unsuitable or dangerous for you and your skin.
When can I see the results of this treatment?
Results can be seen the instant you leave the clinic, and the results will only improve up to 12 weeks following the treatment due to refreshed collagen production.

How can I maintain these results?
Results of the Focus Dual treatment will usually last 1-2 years, however this can be dependent on lifestyle and maintenance. To increase the longevity of your results, we recommend a combination of the following to encourage healthier skin:

• Eating a balanced diet and maintain hydration
